Continuing with my idea of developing a method to arrange
and distribute parking during events or in places with few spots available, I went
ahead and interviewed five more people to get some more information about my
opportunity.
Who?
After conducting the interviews, I found out that although
most people have been through the struggle of finding a parking spot, they have
absolutely no problem in waiting. This puts some of my potential customers in a
situation where they are not interested in my product. They also told me that multiple
businesses would probably not be willing to pay for my services.
What?
In this case, my idea of finding parking would probably be
related to the fact of wanting to be on time for events, meetings, etc.
Why?
Although everybody wants to do things as fast as possible,
some people answered that they tend to do things earlier so that even if they
have to find a parking spot, they have plenty of time, whereas some others tend
to leave things to the last minute.
Inside the boundary
|
Outside the boundary
|
Who is in: People who want to save time when parking
|
Who is not: People who arrive to places on time or do not
mind waiting
|
What the need is: Finding parking spots efficiently
|
What the need is not: Achievable for some businesses
|
Why the need exists: Because some places do not have enough
spots to satisfy the needs
|
Alternative explanations: There are other ways that
businesses might want to use to save the money of my product

HI Richard,
ReplyDeleteAwesome work! I would've liked to see the responses from the people interviewed but the idea and opportunity is there for success in the world. Great work
Hey Richard! I feel like those who have no problem in waiting are still in a category where they can be swayed, because sure they can wait but seeing the ease and benefit of your opportunity might be able to allow them to see the value in it. It’s easy to give a yes or no answer but when all pros and cons are weighed, answers can be swayed.
